Join our dynamic Nasdaq Market Services PMO team as a Senior Technical Project Manager and play a pivotal role in transforming Nasdaq into a leading platform company. As key contributor on our team, you will leverage your expertise in project management standards and methodologies to drive complex initiatives that bridge business and technology.
The Tech PM will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that priorities are aligned with Nasdaq's objectives. Think creatively to develop innovative solutions that address complex challenges and optimize project outcomes. Implement tiered messaging strategies to communicate effectively with different stakeholder groups, ensuring that key messages are tailored to the audience's needs and understanding. Foster transparency in decision-making processes by openly sharing information, rationale, and progress updates, thereby building trust and facilitating collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
- Accountable for a handful project / program management initiatives within the Nasdaq Market Services PMO, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Leverage technical expertise to manage complex software development cycles, ensuring seamless integration of new technologies and systems.
- Implement best practices in risk management, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead with Innovation: Spearhead projects that align with Nasdaq's vision of becoming a platform company, fostering creativity and innovative solutions to enhance our digital presence and customer engagement.
- Master Communication: Utilize your exceptional communication skills to keep stakeholders at all levels informed, build trust, and enable proactive problem-solving, even in challenging situations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and timely delivery.
- Navigate up and down hierarchies to ensure alignment and collaboration across different levels of the organization.
- Optimize Resources: Ensure effective resource management to deliver projects on time and within budget, while maintaining a focus on Nasdaq's strategic goals.
- Navigate Complexity: Manage complex projects in regulated industries, balancing business and technology perspectives to achieve seamless integration and high-quality outcomes.
- Drive Transparency: Foster transparency in decision-making processes by openly sharing information, rationale, and progress updates, building trust and facilitating collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in project management and program management.
- Ability to view initiatives from both a business and technology perspective.
- Mastery of communication, resource management, and risk management.
- Experience working in regulated industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexible personality and adaptable approach.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
- Experience Required: At least 6 years
- Special Qualifications: Formal Project Management certification.
This position can be located in Philadelphia or Denver, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 2 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $99,600 - $166,100. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
