As a BigQuery Data Integration Product Manager at Google, you'll define and drive product strategy and roadmap for data integration features within the Google Cloud ecosystem. This involves understanding customer needs, conducting market research, collaborating with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams. Responsibilities include developing an understanding of the data integration landscape, gathering customer insights, translating needs into prioritized roadmaps, working with engineering and design on product specifications and architecture, and collaborating with marketing and sales for launches and adoption. You will track key metrics and gather customer feedback to measure product success and identify areas for improvement. The role requires a deep understanding of data integration concepts, architectures, and best practices, along with experience in product management, particularly within data integration, data warehousing, or big data technologies. Success in this role necessitates strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • Experience in product management, with a focus on data integration, data warehousing, or big data technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in product management, with a focus on data integration, data warehousing, or big data technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services.
  • Experience with data integration tools and technologies (e.g., ETL/ELT, Apache Spark, Apache Beam, or similar).
  • Knowledge of data integration concepts, architectures, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

You will be responsible for the success and growth of data integration features along with other products in the data integration space within the Google Cloud ecosystem. Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the data integration landscape and identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate in the data integration space.
  • Gather insights into customer needs, pain points, and competitive offerings to inform product development.
  • Translate customer needs and market trends into a prioritized roadmap of features and enhancements.
  • Work with engineering and design teams to define product specifications, user experience, and technical architecture.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to launch new features and drive adoption of Data Fusion, and track key metrics and gather customer feedback to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
