Job Description

Goliath seeks a Project Manager for its Toys & Games division. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), analyzing product costs, collaborating with the design team, negotiating costs, supporting product integrity processes, creating presentations, coordinating with external agencies, overseeing prototype development, and participating in international travel. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 3-5 years of experience in the toy, games, or FMCG sectors, experience with Far East vendors, strong project management skills, CAD proficiency (desirable), and a passion for toys and games. The role involves working closely with internal and external partners across multiple countries.

We are looking for a Project Manager Toys & Games who is a driven, creative individual to become a central part of the toy development team. Working closely with a vibrant group of internal and external partners, including our US, Dutch and Hong Kong offices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) to share with Far East teams for quotes and final costings.
  • Analyse product costs to identify value engineering solutions and confirm content.
  • Collaborate closely with the Design Team to provide input and advice on initial concepts and designs.
  • Negotiate competitive product costs, tooling investments, and sample production.
  • Support the Product Integrity (PI) team processes, ensuring safety and legal product compliance.
  • Assist in creating mood boards and presentation decks for both internal and external meetings.
  • Coordinate with external agencies for samples, prototypes, and additional design services as required.
  • Oversee prototype and tooling CAD development, including sign-off approvals.
  • Participate in international travel and off-site meetings when necessary.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in product development, industrial design, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of industry experience, ideally in the toy, games, or FMCG sectors.
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing processes and design for manufacturing.
  • Experience working with Far East vendors or offices is highly advantageous.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Blender) is desirable.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of manufacturing techniques and related design practices.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills for cross-country collaboration.
