Que ferez-vous ?

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un.e Responsable Programmeur Outils pour piloter le développement des outils de génération procédurale dans l’univers de Star Citizen. Avec une solide expérience en génération procédurale, cette personne sera là pour encadrer et orienter le travail de l’équipe.

  • Diriger une équipe de développeurs dans la création et la maintenance d'outils de conception pour la production de contenu numérique
  • Concevoir, créer, documenter, maintenir et améliorer des outils de développement de contenu pour Star Citizen
  • Collaborer étroitement et efficacement avec les artistes, les concepteurs, les autres développeurs de contenu et les ingénieurs logiciels sur les exigences et la conception d’outils
  • Contribuer aux idées sur tous les aspects de la production et du développement d'outils
  • Rechercher et évaluer de nouveaux outils de développement de jeux tiers
  • Fournir du support à distance aux utilisateurs des outils

  • Compétences et passion pour le leadership
  • Maitrise parfaite du langage C++, de son environnement et de ses outils
  • Excellente connaissance des meilleures pratiques en génie logiciel
  • Sens de l’expérience utilisateur
  • Connaissances en Python, automatisation, Houdini, ML et outils de support sont un atout
  • Capacité à communiquer efficacement avec les gens, en anglais et en français

What will you do?

We are seeking a Lead Tools Programmer to spearhead the development of procedural generation tools for the Star Citizen universe. Drawing closely on his technical expertise in procedural generation, this person will guide the team efforts.

  • Lead a team of developers in the creation and maintenance of design tools for digital content production
  • Designing, creating, documenting, maintaining, and improving content development tools for Star Citizen
  • Collaborating closely and effectively with artists, designers, other content developers, and software engineers on the requirements and design of tools
  • Contributing to ideas in all aspects of tools production and development
  • Proposing tools and methods to increase efficiency and quality of content development
  • Providing remote support for the tools’ users

What do we expect from our Lead Tools Programmer?

  • Experience as a Lead Programmer, either in Tools or in a related field
  • Loves leadership!
  • Excellent command of the C++ language, environment and tools
  • Excellent knowledge of software engineering best practices
  • User Experience oriented thinking
  • Python, Automation, Houdini, ML , supporting tools an asset
  • Communicating efficiently with people. In English and in French
  • Communicating and collaborating closely with colleagues of various expertise
