We’re hiring a Sales Planner / Media Buyer for an exciting hybrid contract opportunity based in New York City with one of our premier media clients.
This is a great opportunity for a media-savvy professional with at least two years of experience in linear media sales planning or media buying. In this role, you’ll support a dedicated book of business, manage the full RFP process, and play a key part in the seamless execution of high-impact advertising campaigns. Job Title: Sales Planner / Media Buyer
Type: Contract
Location: Hybrid (New York City)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, regular business hours
Duration: 6 months
Pay: $30–$35/hour (paid weekly)
Benefits: Eligible during contract period
Lead the end-to-end RFP process, including proposal development and order entry
Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Management to develop pricing and packaging strategies
Maintain accurate pipeline data and manage campaign budget updates (optimizations, cancellations, makegoods)
Partner with cross-functional teams including Ad Ops, Inventory Analytics, Streaming, and Measurement
Track and optimize campaign performance with Ad Ops
Support Finance with billing reconciliation and reporting
Respond to agency and client requests, and contribute to sales communications
Develop customized materials and presentations for client meetings
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
Minimum 2 years of experience in linear media (broadcast TV, cable, or radio) sales planning or media buying
Agency or media company experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Familiarity with media math and ad sales terminology
Experience with Operative One and knowledge of the TV/streaming ecosystem is a plus
