Job Description

The Sales Trainer at Tesla Thailand will partner with store managers to develop and deliver engaging sales training programs. Responsibilities include designing localized training roadmaps, conducting online and offline training sessions, providing on-the-floor coaching, and monitoring sales team performance. The role requires strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will identify areas for improvement, recommend solutions, and contribute to the development of training materials. They will also track performance, provide feedback and support post-training initiatives. The goal is to enhance sales performance, improve customer engagement, and promote brand loyalty across the market, maximizing productivity and growth within the Tesla sales and delivery operations.
Must have:
  • 2+ years experience in EV/automotive sales (preferred)
  • Training, coaching & organizational development experience
  • Strong facilitation, communication & interpersonal skills
  • Teamwork, follow-up, organizational & project management skills
  • MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

What to Expect

In partnership with store managers, the Sales Trainer will deliver trainings and coaching to the sales force to ensure that sales, delivery, service and operational standards are consistently high and that brand behaviors are demonstrated across the market with in-depth knowledge and strategic approach to our Tesla product resulting to maximum productivity, brand loyalty and growth in sales and delivery.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with store managers and subject matter experts to structure, schedule and implement a localized and motivational sales training roadmap (coordinate and plan online/offline trainings, sales floor coaching, morning huddles and engagement programs).
  • Partner with subject matter experts and other training professionals as resources when required.
  • Ensure right Tesla behaviors are demonstrated on the sales floors and partner with store managers to monitor and coach the sales force on their individual improvement areas and debrief sales customer engagement activities in real time.
  • Share strengths and areas for improvement to the coachee as evaluated against the set standard and guidelines based on Tesla knowledge, skills and attitude benchmarks/best practices. Recommend short and long term solutions to closing performance gaps (further coaching, training classes, review of training materials, company resources, etc.)
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate new joiner training programs
  • Establish frequent check-in schedule with management, store managers and Human Resources.
  • Provide support for post-training endeavors (surveys, follow-up, and correspondence.) 
  • Suggest development of classes/materials such as end-user manuals, job aids, reference materials, etc. to fill identified training needs or curriculum gaps.
What You’ll Bring
  • 2+ years of experience in EV and automotive sales industry is a plus
  • Training, coaching and organizational development experience is preferred
  • Strong Facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees
  • Strong teamwork
  • Excellent follow up, organizational skills and project management skills
  • MS Office skill (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
