Job Description
Voodoo seeks a Senior 3D Artist to contribute to their low-poly mobile game, Hole.io. Responsibilities include 3D asset creation (characters, environments, props), optimizing for mobile, collaborating with the Art Director to define the visual style, working with the game team to meet technical and artistic requirements, ensuring timely delivery of assets, staying current with 3D art techniques, and mentoring junior artists. The ideal candidate possesses strong skills in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, animation (VFX a plus), Unity proficiency (Blender a plus), mobile game development experience, problem-solving abilities, and fluent English.

Role:
We're seeking a talented Senior 3D Artist to join our team and help bring our low-poly mobile game to life. As a key member of our art team, you will be working closely with the Art Director to help shape and define the game's visual style, ensuring that all 3D assets are in line with the overall art direction and contribute to the game's unique aesthetic. You will be responsible for creating stunning 3D assets, from characters and environments to props, all while maintaining mobile optimization best practices. You will be expected to be able to work independently and proactively, taking ownership of your tasks and solving problems as they arise.
- Modeling, texturing, and integrating your work into Unity
- Collaborating with the Art Director to refine and develop the game's visual style
- Working closely with the game team to ensure assets meet technical and artistic requirements.
- Working closely with production and the Art director to ensure assets are delivered on time and to specifications.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest 3D art techniques and tools and helping mentor more junior 3D artists within the team.
Profile
- Highly skilled in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, animation and VFX are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Unity and 3D content creation tools
- (Proficiency in Blender is a plus)
- Experience working on mobile game projects, at all stages of development.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Self-driven, motivated to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English.
