As a Mechatronics Intern (Lighting) at Logitech, you'll contribute to enhancing the lighting performance of gaming keyboards. Your responsibilities will include: reviewing the optical design of existing switches and analyzing their lighting performance, developing new switch designs with novel optical concepts for improved performance, and conducting optical experiments to validate your designs. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of optical engineering and contribute to the development of innovative gaming products.
Must have:
  • Knowledge of Optics & Physics
  • Optical design & Simulation (Zemax, Tracepro, LightTool)
  • Optical experiment
  • Communication in English (writing and speaking)

The Team and Role:

  • The Mechatronics Intern (Lighting) is responsible for gaming keyboard lighting performance enhancement.

Your Contribution:

  • Contribute to find a solution to achieve better lighting performance for gaming keyboard switch

  • Review the optical design of current switch and corresponding lighting performance.

  • Develop the new switch with novel optical design for better performance. 


Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

  • Knowledge of Optics & Physics

  • Optical design & Optical simulation(ex. Zemax, Tracepro or LightTool)

  • Optical experiment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Be able to communicate in English, writing, and speaking.

  • Part time with 3 full days/week at least.

Education

  • Degree in Optical Engineering, Electro-Optical Sciences, Electro-Optical Engineering or Physics.
