Job Description

The Senior Client Executive will be responsible for daily interaction with clients regarding claims, underwriting, and renewals. They will ensure the implementation and maintenance of claims, underwriting, and technical delivery standards, as well as timely renewal processes. This role also involves client retention, new business development, and identifying cross-selling opportunities. They should also keep abreast of the insurance markets, foster relationships with other business units, and comply with company policies and regulations.
Must have:
  • 5+ years Corporate sales and client service experience
  • FSCA recognized qualification
  • FAIS fit and proper
  • Corporate Insurance Brokerage experience
  • Presentation & negotiation skills
  • Valid driver’s license and a car
  • Problem solving and planning skills
  • Robust administration & self-management skills

Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate division at Marsh. This role will be based in Ssndton, hybrid and has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • Daily interaction with clients regarding claims, underwriting and renewals

  • Ensure claims, underwriting and technical delivery standards are implemented and maintained

  • Ensure renewals are done timeously

  • Ensure premium collection according to regulatory requirements

  • Client retention

  • New Business development

  • Cross sell opportunities:

    • Ensure all products and services available within Marsh Africa are marketed to the client as appropriate

  • Keep abreast with the insurance markets (local)

  • Fostering of sound working relationships with other functional business units.

  • Familiarity and compliance with all company policies, statutory and regulatory requirements.

What you need to have:

  • Minimum 5-year appropriate experience in the Corporate sales and client service environment and a results driven mindset

  • FSCA recognised qualification

  • FAIS fit and proper

  • Corporate Insurance Brokerage experience

  • Presentation & negotiation skills

  • Valid driver’s licence and a car

  • Problem solving, effective planning & organising skills

  • Robust administration & self-management skills
