Job Description

As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll contribute to daily reporting for client marketing efforts, working on brand campaigns and pitches. Responsibilities include analyzing web and social data from various platforms, creating reports and dashboards, supporting marketing initiatives, conducting research, and providing performance reporting. You'll also supervise junior analysts, providing coaching and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The role requires expertise in web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Firebase), data management platforms, tag management tools, social listening tools, and data visualization tools (Google Data Studio, Power BI). You'll participate in brainstorms, conduct root-cause analysis, and handle ad-hoc requests.
Must have:

Job Description

What you will do:  

As a Senior Analyst, you will lay the groundwork and contribute to day-to-day reporting needs for client marketing efforts. You will work on brand campaigns and pitches, assist in developing reporting frameworks for web and social analytics projects and manage quality and insightful reporting for clients whilst supervising your junior analysts.

 

Day-to-day, your role includes:

  • Keeping a pulse on daily, weekly and monthly performance data from web and social analytics platforms together with your direct reports
  • Working in a variety of reporting systems and databases for the creation of recurring reports and dashboards
  • Participating in brainstorms to identify nuances in data to optimize our clients’ business
  • Supporting marketing initiatives across project and campaign lifecycles, including measurement plans, primary and secondary research, and performance reporting
  • Expanding industry knowledge and relevant skillsets through scheduled internal training
  • Participating in ad hoc requests from accounts handled such as root-cause analysis, reporting, data insights generation and more.
  • Lead your junior analysts including providing coaching, career planning and ensuring quality of deliverables at its optimum

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of work experience in a data environment
  • An undergraduate college degree
  • Passion for digital marketing, eagerness to learn in a constantly-changing industry, and possess natural curiosity
  • Understanding and familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or Firebase is required
  • Knowledge on data management platforms (Adobe, Lotame, etc.) is required
  • Hands on experience with Tag Management tool such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, Tealium, etc. is required
  • Experience with Social Listening tools such as Netbase, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, etc. is required
  • Experience in using data visualization tool such as Google Data Studio and/or Power BI is required
  • Experience with other data visualization tools e.g. Tableau etc. (desired but optional)
  • Advanced in Powerpoint presentation skills (for senior level presentations and advanced usage of Excel for data analysis
  • Basic SQL queries, conditions and data cleaning process (desired but optional)
  • Experience with Google BigQuery, MySQL etc. (desired but optional)
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Able to prioritise tasks and provide timely updates
  • Team player, Independent & Detail-oriented
  • Ability to learn and adapt to different systems and various databases
