Scopely is looking for a Senior Graphic Engineer to join our new, truly unique multiplayer strategy game.

We are in the early stages of development on an ambitious, unannounced Strategy/MMO title, creating a team of talented and passionate game makers to join us on this exciting journey!

Right now, we are actively looking for a Senior Graphics Engineer who is dedicated to working closely with artists to develop technology that brings their artistic vision to life in-game at blistering speeds. Your passion will be creating and maintaining graphics technology in the Unity engine that inspires and amazes our players in both existing and new games.

What You Will Do 
  • Analyse, refactor, and improve graphics/engine technology and tools in Unity
  • Improve the speed and productivity of artists through improvements to the art pipeline
    Empower the art team to achieve best-in-class results while also hitting performance targets
  • Deliver scaling solutions that run from cutting-edge PCs to low-end mobile devices
  • Deliver analysis and optimization for performance bottlenecks
  • Work with stakeholders to figure out and implement the best technical solutions

What We’re Looking For 
  • Experience as part of a professional development team working on rendering technology in Unity
  • Strong 3D vector and matrix math skills
  • Experience with graphics profilers and debuggers
  • Expert knowledge of real-time rendering techniques related to lighting and visual effects
  • Excellent experience working with multiple stakeholders in the development process - be able to understand their goals and deliver/evaluate various tech solutions to meet these
  • Experience with version control, build tools and deployment pipelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices and trends

Bonus Points 
  • Experience working with Git
    Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
  • Experience with automated testing and continuous integration
  • Familiarity with other game engines such as Unreal
  • Experience with graphics programming, including shaders
  • Knowledge of game design principles and user experience
  • Multi-platform development experience on iOS, Android and PC
  • Desire to share knowledge and expertise with other engineers
  • Passion for multiplayer strategy games
