The Senior HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic partner to the CTO team, providing expert HR guidance and support tailored to the unique needs of the engineering function. This role involves driving talent management, organizational development, performance enhancement, and fostering a culture of innovation within engineering teams. The HRBP will work closely with engineering managers and employees to align HR initiatives with business objectives. Responsibilities include strategic HR partnership, performance management, employee relations, organizational development, training and development, data-driven decision making, diversity and inclusion, and collaboration with other HR functions and business leaders.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a business partner role within tech industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Understanding of engineering roles, functions, and industry-specific challenges.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in leading change initiatives and managing organizational transformations.

The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic partner to the CTO team, providing expert HR guidance and support tailored to the unique needs of the engineering function. This role is responsible for driving talent management, organizational development, performance enhancement, and fostering a culture of innovation within the engineering teams. The HRBP will work closely with engineering managers and employees to align HR initiatives with business objectives and enhance the overall employee experience.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Strategic HR Partnership:
  • Collaborate with managers to execute HR strategies that align with business goals and enhance overall organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance on HR-related matters, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee engagement.
  • Performance Management:
  • Facilitate performance management processes that align employee goals with organizational objectives.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers in conducting performance reviews and delivering constructive feedback.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Organizational Development:
  • Identify and execute initiatives to enhance organizational culture, employee engagement, and team effectiveness.
  • Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during organizational changes.
  • Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills, leadership capabilities, and overall performance.
  • Collaborate with learning and development teams to implement training solutions that align with business needs.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
  • Utilize HR analytics and metrics to assess workforce trends, identify areas for improvement, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership that highlight key HR initiatives and outcomes.
  • Diversity and Inclusion:
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization, ensuring a culture of respect and belonging.
  • Implement programs and policies that support a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other HR functions (e.g., compensation and benefits, employee engagement, talent development) to ensure cohesive HR practices.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify and address HR-related challenges and opportunities.

Requirements: 

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business partner role within tech industry.
  • HR Expertise: Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of engineering roles, functions, and industry-specific challenges to effectively support the engineering team.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to align HR initiatives with business goals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills to collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization.
  • Change Management: Experience in leading change initiatives and managing organizational transformations.
