Guerrilla is seeking a passionate, people-focused Senior HR Generalist to become the vital link between our world-class creative talent and the business, fostering collaboration and innovation at the heart of our fast-paced, internationally acclaimed AAA game studio.
OUR HR TEAM
Our local HR team at Guerrilla consists of 5 members: an EMEA Studios HR director, Sr. HR Manager, Sr. HR Business Partner and two HR Generalists. We support around 350 employees who all work in our studio based in Amsterdam. We also collaborate with PlayStation Studios for EMEA/worldwide projects to support for our broader HR system.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Sr HR Generalist at Guerrilla, you will:
- Act as the first point of contact for all “routine” questions, providing advice, guidance and coaching to both staff and managers in all aspects of HR and escalate to the HRBP when needed.
- Provide full cycle administrative support for the studio employee population (employment contracts, employer’s declarations, compensation and reward letters, registration to our different benefits providers, record of sickness management).
- Build effective relationships with staff at all levels and with external partners (payroll provider, immigration and relocation agency, ARBO services, benefits providers, external auditors).
- Coordinate our payroll with our ADP/Payroll consultant.
- Be proactive in identifying people issues with the HR Business Partner assigned to your group and implement pragmatic and business orientated solutions.
- Provide first line sickness management support.
- Maintain correct data in Workday (audit and update where needed), collaborate with our global People Technology team.
- Support through the yearly Audit process with our external auditors.
- Work with our Finance Team on required Purchase Order (create, receive goods and manage this process).
- Keep up to date with legal requirements, providing suggestions for changes.
- Build successful relationships and collaborate closely with our SIE Global HR teams (COEs).
- Be in the Amsterdam office 4 days a week to support the studio and its staff.
WHO YOU ARE
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have 2-4 years of relevant HR Operations/Generalist experience with an international Technology/Software company.
- Are a problem solver, proactive and comfortable in partnering with employees at all levels as well as working independently.
- Have a healthy curiosity and the desire to learn all aspects of the studio and help attain their goals.
- Strive for data excellence and have a keen eye for detail with strong Excel/Office skills and previous experience with Workday (SAP is a plus).
- Have a good understanding of Dutch Labour Law.
- Have an interest in the gaming industry.
Plusses
Fluent in Dutch communication, both written and verbal.
