Senior Manager, Game Production - League of Legends

As a Senior Manager, Production you drive operational excellence by ensuring seamless and efficient execution of all production efforts across League of Legends content production. By optimizing workflows, fostering continuous improvement, and adhering to best practices, you enhance productivity and minimize waste. Leveraging strong cross-team collaboration, you build effective partnerships with product and leadership teams globally, as well as key internal and external partners. Your focus is on enabling creative product development while ensuring sustainable, predictable delivery, all within a framework of accountability, innovation, and long-term player value creation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the production delivery team to drive operational excellence, overseeing the end-to-end production pipeline to ensure high-quality, timely, and on-budget project delivery.
• Drive the execution and serve as the advocate for the global cosmetic product strategy, ensuring alignment across regions, teams, and partners to deliver cohesive and high-quality player experiences.
• Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, external partners, and leadership to align cross-functional efforts with Riot's strategic objectives and ensure clear communication of goals and timelines.
• Foster strong, collaborative relationships with product teams, leadership, and global partners to streamline workflows, enhance coordination, and align on strategic priorities.
• Develop and implement data-driven strategies and best practices to optimize production processes, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks while optimizing resource allocation across teams to sustain productivity and ensure delivery predictability.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure quality, timeline adherence, and alignment with Riot's production standards.
• Establish KPIs, track progress, and foster a culture of accountability and transparency to drive consistent and predictable delivery outcomes.
• Promote innovation by empowering teams to propose creative solutions that enhance both efficiency and creativity without sacrificing operational effectiveness.
• Continuously evaluate and improve workflows using industry best practices and data-driven insights to enhance scalability and long-term sustainability.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in production operations, project management, or a similar role, preferably within the gaming or entertainment industry.
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent game development experience (creative, development, engineering, product or business)
• At least 4 years experience in people management of mid-senior people
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including creative, engineering, insights, finance and leadership teams.
• Background in managing external partnerships, including vendors and outsourcing partners.
• Experience managing live service video game products on one or more games
• Effective at partnering with teams and building agreements

Desired Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience managing a co-development or outsourcing relationship 
• Managed a variety of different disciplines (e.g., Designers, Producers)
• Experience facilitating meetings with senior management
