Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
- Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in one or more of the following: compute architecture, data center infrastructure, CPU and I/O technologies, Virtualization and OS systems.
- Knowledge of different workload requirements and their demands on the underlying infrastructure.
- Ability to communicate and influence decisions cross-functionally and at all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities
- Drive new capabilities in the foundational Compute Infrastructure layer (e.g., Hypervisor and Virtualization Stack, Guest OS, Devices) and deliver innovation for Google Cloud.
- Understand the dynamics and industry trends on where the innovation is happening for both workloads and hardware.
- Drive the roadmap for guest OS support, network, storage, hypervisor, and offloads.
- Provide data-driven insights to prioritize engineering initiatives and maximize return on investment.
- Collaborate with peers across all layers of the cloud stack.
