Job Description

Senior Software Quality Assurance Manager is in charge of multiple testing teams for Treat clinical applications, and for Quality Assurance of related products over entire software development life cycle (SDLC).


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Through understanding of Software Life Cycle (SLC) and SQA’s role/methodology in the cycle.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Champion agile procedures and process improvements across multiple projects and environments.
  • Continuously improve test automation coverage and increase robustness and reliability of automation frameworks.
  • Advocate quality improvements to other members of Align Technology staff.
  • Manage team(s) of SQA engineers and leads, including people in remote and offshore locations.
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
  • Hire, train, and supervise SQA staff.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Quality professional with 8+ years of hands on experience with increasing responsibility in a QA function.
  • Proven experience and ability to manage people, processes, and technology.
  • Previous experience with hands-on SQA activity, including documentation, automated, non-automated and load testing.
  • Strong hands on management skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff, organize and prioritize multiple assignments, and use initiative to accomplish results.
  • Excellent leadership and engineering skills.
  • Ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Excellent time management, planning, organization and prioritization skills.
  • Familiarity with QA tools and automation frameworks.
  • Programming experience in C++, Python.
