As a Senior QA Test Analyst, you will play a key role in enhancing the quality of our platform delivery through various test methodologies.

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our Mumbai/Pune based Quality Assurance team. The position oversees the Automation testing of Market Risk and Regulatory Risk in Calypso Trading Solution. This is a tremendous opportunity to strengthen technical, business & product skills.

The main objective for the quality assurance team in Mumbai is to deliver a high quality software to our customers using various test methods and tools. As our new member, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. Together with your team, you will be responsible for delivery of enhancements and bug fixes for the market risk and regulatory risk solution of CALYPSO trading platform.

Your role and responsibilities:

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the globe, ensuring the highest standards of quality in solutions and services delivered to world-leading Capital Market Participants.

We will have the opportunity to work in a strong experienced team delivering complex technology solutions to international clients. We will work with and learn from subject matter experts, and get a platform to take on more responsibility and progress within the Quality Assurance team.  Besides working closely with your colleagues in Mumbai, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

Furthermore, you will: 

  • Opportunity! To design, develop, troubleshoot and implement rich internet application software for Boardvantage product.
  • Take high-level architecture and design models from architects and implement them through detailed design and code
  • Participate in technical design reviews, functional specification reviews, develop project estimates, schedules, test plans, and code reviews.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential problems/issues including authoring of technical specifications.
  • Conduct performance testing, review results, identify bottlenecks, and profile code


We expect you to have 


  • At least 3+years of experience in Capital Market, preferably Market Risk/Regulatory Risk within Product/Software company or Investment Bank.
  • Good Experience required in analyzing portfolios with different risk factors (credit risk, liquidity risk, market risk, and operational risk) In-depth understanding of various risk reports such as Value-at-Risk (VaR) and Historical Simulation (HS), and the risk modeling techniques that underlie such reports.
  • Good Experience required in completing scenario tests and stress tests for financial risk models.
  • Experience in Trade Capture for any of the asset class Ability to read complex requirement/specification document and design test cases.
  • Strong ability to work independently in a techno functional environment.
  • Education Qualification: Bachelor/Master in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Business, Economics.

It would be great if you

  • Knowledge on any of the asset class (EQ, FI, COM, FX, FXO, IRD, CDS, MM, Derivatives, Pricing, Repo).
  • Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle
  • Fair understanding of Database and SQL
  • Knowledge of Xray or Quality Center
