Playrix is hiring a Senior VFX Artist to create and integrate stunning visual effects for their mobile games. The role requires 3+ years of experience in mobile game development, expertise in Unity, Unreal, and other game engines, and a strong understanding of animation principles.

Team, about the role

Now our flagships are experiencing a new phase in the development of quality. We're looking for an experienced VFX Artist ready to make independent artistic decisions with full creative freedom. You'll have the opportunity to influence the creation of visual effects for one of the highest-grossing mobile games in the world, all while growing an impressive portfolio.

This role requires relocation from Russia and Belarus to one of our offices or remote work from other countries (except Russia and Belarus). Find out more

Tasks

Forming the dynamics and style of the project's effects
Creating and integrating effects of different levels of complexity, including those that are most challenging and innovative
Working in Playrix's own effects editor, developing the company's internal tools
Interacting with other VFX artists, game designers, and programmers to reach new levels of explosive visual quality

Requirements

Knowledge of the mobile project market and its trends
Excellent skills in composition, color, timing, and dynamics
Portfolio and 3+ years of experience developing effects for mobile games
Expert skills in creating and optimizing effects in Unity, Unreal, and other game engines
Expert skills in working with graphic editors
Knowledge of and skills in applying animation principles
Experience with shaders
Fluency in Russian and proficiency in written English

Preferred

Knowledge of how related areas operate: programming, game design, technical design, animation
Experience working in stylistically similar mobile projects
Experience creating and texturing 3D models
