Job Description

NVIDIA seeks a Silicon Reliability Engineer to contribute to the productization of their chips for consumer, professional, server, mobile, and automotive solutions. Responsibilities include GPU and SoC system qualification (feature checks, system stress, debugging), validation of reliability stress hardware/software, HTOL testing, script creation for automation and data parsing, delivering silicon aging results, and collaborating with multi-functional teams on debugging. The role requires system-level debugging expertise, familiarity with CPUs/GPUs/SOCs, scripting languages (Python/JavaScript), board/system design, PC architecture, and various buses.
Must have:

We are now looking for a Silicon Reliability Engineer. NVIDIA’s Silicon Reliability Engineers are responsible for productizing NVIDIA's chips into groundbreaking consumer, professional, server, mobile, and automotive solutions.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for GPU and SoC system qualification, including feature checks, system stress at BurnIn conditions, testing of a large number of systems, and debugging issues affecting any unit of the chip or software.

  • Perform validation of reliability stress hardware and software infrastructures and participate in a system-level High-Temperature Operating Life (HTOL) reliability test.

  • Build scripts for automation and data parsing.

  • Deliver silicon aging results for product aging modeling.

  • Drive silicon aging debugs meetings and co-work with multi-function teams to root cause it.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent in Microelectronics/Electrical/Electronic/Physic or equivalent experience

  • 3 to 5 years overall experience in semiconductor reliability.

  • Good problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

  • Capability of multi-tasking with priority.

  • Basic knowledge of frequency power thermal constraints and failure analysis techniques.

  • Engineering Experience in system-level debugging and Perf/Power/Speed/Reliability features in CPUs/GPUs/SOCs.

  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python and/or JavaScript.

  • Good knowledge of board and system design considerations and experience in silicon design/bring-up.

  • An understanding of PC architecture and various commonly used buses.

  • Must be a standout colleague and ready to work with global teams from diverse cultural backgrounds.

The base salary range is 108,000 USD - 212,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
