Must have:

Software Engineer II, Graphics

THE ROLE

As part of a small and dynamic team, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing R&D efforts within the graphics team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a research or advanced development environment, with a focus on real-time graphics and machine learning. This role is perfect for someone with a background in the games industry as a graphics engineer.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Assist in the integration of advanced graphics technologies into existing build systems
  • Explore and evaluate new technologies for real-time inference in graphics pipelines
  • Analyze and optimize model performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless technology integration and compatibility

WHO YOU ARE

  • BS degree in Computer Science, or related fields
  • Professional experience in C++ working on a commercial application or equivalent experience with tools for internal use in a studio environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in real-time graphics development, with a focus on low-level APIs such as Vulkan
  • 1+ years of experience with modern machine learning training, particularly using PyTorch
  • Basic understanding of linear algebra and 3D graphics fundamentals
  • Familiarity with O3DE or similar open-source game engines*
  • Working familiarity with Agile/Scrum development process
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 to $135,000 plus equity (per qualifications)
  • The base pay actually offered will take into account internal parity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
