The Sr. Account Manager is responsible for all aspects of client revenue maintenance and growth in our Payor (Health Plan) Market. In this role you will serve as the primary point of contact for client renewals, performance guarantee management and identifying and driving growth opportunities. To support these goals, you will establish, nourish and expand client relationships through a firm understanding of the client’s strategic priorities, business objectives and overall goals. This role will build, maintain and grow relationships, with an emphasis on a client’s executive leadership, across WedMD Ignite’s multi-faceted client base. A successful candidate will have demonstrated experience documenting, implementing, communicating and tracking a renewal plan through all aspects of the renewal and/or sales lifecycle of a client.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for all aspects of client revenue maintenance and growth
Responsible for overall client relationship and satisfaction
Manage all aspects of client renewal activities
Serve as the expert for all contractual obligations for each client and coordinate with relevant internal teams (sales support, delivery, finance) to track and ensure compliance with terms
Develop strategy for account in concert with leadership and sales teams
Execute on-plan deliverables and milestones including renewal strategy, pricing, contract terms and growth
Track and ensure compliance with contract dates, terms and other aspects of contractual specification
Adhere to Salesforce documentation and reporting in a timely and complete manner
Own documentation and reporting on account activity and quarterback all action items following client interactions
Bring meaningful teaching points to clients at every interaction; seek to demonstrate and support clients in maximizing investments in Ignite products at every opportunity
In combination with delivery team, use client interactions to report progress on client goals, relevant product updates and identify opportunities to expand client relationship and portfolio
Stratify book of business based on client needs, decision points, revenue generating opportunities and risk
Identify and lead growth opportunity pipeline alongside client-sharing colleagues, management and executive leadership
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant experience
5+ years managing multiple client executive relationships, including serving as a trusted “go to” thought partner for client strategy
Track record of meeting and exceeding account renewal and growth goals
Experience in healthcare or wellness related fields, preferably Payors/Health Plans
Must be team-oriented and work well in collaborative situations
Ability to present information, written and orally, for maximum impact
Track record of identifying, managing, mitigating and solving challenges
Detail-oriented and able to dissect and understand contract language
Travel Requirements: Approximately 10-25%
Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000. Role is commission eligible
