Summary

Cirrus Logic seeks talented engineering interns to design and characterize high-performance data converter ICs for audio markets. Interns will work on CMOS operational amplifier design and apply discrete-time/continuous-time signal processing skills. Strong lab and silicon validation skills are essential. This is a summer internship for MS/PhD students in Electrical Engineering with a GPA of 3.6 or above.

Cirrus Logic’s Mixed Signal Audio Division is seeking talented engineering interns to contribute to the design and characterization of high-performance data converter ICs for both professional and consumer audio markets. As an Analog Design Intern, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, working on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of audio and mixed-signal processing technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Strong knowledge of analog integrated circuit design fundamentals 
    • Understanding of CMOS operational amplifier design 
    • Discrete time and continuous time signal process skills 
    • Strong lab and silicon validation skills 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Key Responsibilites:

    • Contribute to the design and characterization of high-performance data converter ICs.
    • Work on the development of analog integrated circuits, focusing on CMOS operational amplifier design.
    • Apply knowledge of discrete time and continuous time signal processing to address project requirements.
    • Utilize strong lab and silicon validation skills to ensure the robustness and performance of the designed circuits.
This opportunity is available for the summer semester only. It is available only to students currently enrolled in a MS or PhD program in Electrical Engineering maintaining a GPA of 3.6 or above, and who will be returning to school for at least one semester following completion of his/her internship. Candidate must be available for full-time employment during the internship.
