SW Student - Config Tools Enablement

The MCUXpresso software and tools bring together the best of NXP’s software enablement into one enablement platform for a shared software experience.

The hiring department, based in Brno, focuses on embedded system configuration tools combining 15+ years of experience in the area with latest technologies and trends.

The individual (student) will be primarily responsible for verification and validation of software for the latest processors based on ARM Cortex architecture as part of MCUXpresso Config Tools Enablement team.

The position is oriented towards embedded software and low-level programming, however, previous experience from this area is not required: this position may well serve as an opportunity for any young software oriented future engineers interested in expanding their skills outside common high level programming languages and interested in meeting with the real hardware.

Responsibilities

Validation and verification of initialization and configuration software for embedded systems and microcontrollers.

Design, implementation and maintenance of test environments and test automation.

Close cooperation with the development team located in the same office. Possibility for future growth into development or project management roles.

Teamwork in international environment, using agile techniques.

Candidate will work in MCUXpresso Config Tools Enablement team located in Brno.

Requirements

University student of Computer Science, Electrical, Control or Computer Engineering.

Basic knowledge of C language and scripting language such as JavaScript or Python.

Interest in programming embedded systems, Arm architecture, Arduino, or any similar development platforms. 

English language on communication level, ability and will to work in international team.
