We are looking for an experienced systems analyst to help implement and improve our business applications, specifically our use of Salesforce for sales and relationship management, fulfillment and technical support processes. This individual will analyze business issues and system requirements to address ongoing operational objectives. This individual will also coordinate standard testing cycles to ensure quality updates are released. Ultimately, the systems analyst will translate our business needs into new high quality business applications.
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:
- Have 5+ years of proven experience as a business and/or systems analyst
- Possess 2+ years of specific experience with the Salesforce ecosystem, including a solid understanding of its architecture, configuration, and limitations
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with software development projects and documentation
- Can translate business needs into system requirements and configuration specifications
- Are proficient in process and systems mapping applications such as Visio or LucidChart
- Exhibit excellent analytical skills and a strong problem-solving attitude
- Are a team player with a focus on collaborative communication
- Can effectively prioritize and manage competing requests
- Show a demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Are capable of working independently with minimal supervision and taking a proactive role in executing assignments
- Display strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Here’s What You’ll Get to Do:
- Examine and evaluate current business and systems processes
- Lead discussions with users and business stakeholders to understand and document business goals and objectives related to Salesforce and other business applications
- Document new business requirements and translate them into detailed system specifications
- Make design recommendations based on your understanding of Salesforce architecture and limitations
- Define reporting and alerting requirements
- Document and update business and system process diagrams
- Identify common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations for improvements
- Collaborate with trainers to communicate new functionality and provide support
- Perform quality assurance and validate changes by coordinating testing programs
- Work with Developers, SMEs, Users, and other teams to communicate, verify, document, and test desired functionality changes
- Manage multiple competing priorities through effective organization and communication
