People & Culture (P&C) - is the people business of ViaSat. The Talent Management team is an innovative change catalyst. Put simply: we attract, engage, and grow leaders with a focus on raising the bar with every new hire and maximizing the human potential of our employees.

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator reports directly to the business segment Talent Acquisition Manager or Lead Recruiter and is responsible for managing the interview scheduling for both internal and external hiring process to include working directly with interview panelist and candidates to coordinate interview schedules, travel arrangements, virtual interview set up/technology, initiate pre-employment process for selected candidates up to creating offer letters and updating the ATS at each stage of the interview stages.

The day-to-day

  • Schedule complex candidate interview schedules for internal and external candidates: including virtual, onsite, across multiple time zones with speed and accuracy.
  • Coordinate complex candidates interviews on behalf of hiring managers for both internal and external applicants to include confirming interview schedule, making travel arrangements, hiring events coordination, confirming the necessary technology (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
  • Initiate and monitor the pre-employment process and serve as a point of contact for candidates through the process.
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience with timely responses and follow up and a smooth transition from candidate to new hire.
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience by providing timely updates to hiring manager, candidate and Recruiter during the interview and pre-employment stages of the process.


What You'll Need

  • 4+ years of recruitment coordination or administrative experience in an agency or In-house recruiting function.
  • Experience with recruiting technology (ATS, CRM) primarily Workday, Paradox and iCIMS.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively on matters related to scheduling, interview coordination and related reports with stakeholders such as Recruiters, Hiring Managers, Interview panel etc.
  • Familiarity with compliance and privacy standards as well as knowledge and understanding of the relevant employment laws, practices and hiring policies.
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent assignments as well as adapt to new practices and processes quickly.

  • Any bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems - iCIMS
