We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Talent Sourcer to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to identify and attract top IT talent. This role involves sourcing candidates through various channels, conducting initial screenings, maintaining a talent pipeline, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Hiring Managers and Recruiters: Understand role requirements and create effective sourcing strategies.
• Identify and Engage Candidates: Source potential candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, social media platforms, and talent databases.
• Conduct Initial Screenings: Evaluate candidates’ technical skills, experience, and cultural fit during the preliminary screening process.
• Maintain a Talent Pipeline: Develop and manage an active pipeline of qualified IT professionals for current and future openings.
• Leverage Advanced Sourcing Techniques: Utilize Boolean search techniques and other sourcing tools to identify and engage passive candidates.
• Build Candidate Relationships: Foster and maintain positive relationships with candidates, ensuring an excellent experience throughout the sourcing process.
• Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Monitor trends, market conditions, and talent availability within the IT sector to refine sourcing strategies.
• Track and Optimize Metrics: Analyze sourcing metrics to continuously optimize strategies and achieve hiring objectives efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: Proven experience as an IT Sourcer or in a similar sourcing/recruiting role.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT roles and technologies, including software development, infrastructure, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
• Sourcing Tools: Proficiency in using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and ATS/CRM platforms.
• Advanced Search Skills: Strong Boolean search capabilities with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Multitasking Ability: Skilled at managing multiple priorities and performing well in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical Mindset: Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Domain-Specific Sourcing Experience: Prior experience sourcing for roles in specialized IT domains such as DevOps, Data Science, or Full Stack Development.
• Global Hiring Knowledge: Familiarity with international hiring practices, including visa requirements and compliance.
• Certifications: Professional certifications in recruiting tools or methodologies, such as Zoho Recruit or LinkedIn Recruiter, are a plus.
