As a Technical Program Manager at Google Cloud Business Platforms, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to define work problems and program goals, prioritizing deliverables, developing and executing project plans, reviewing key metrics, and identifying corrective actions. You will work with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with senior leadership, and drive product innovation. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, 2+ years of Technical Program Management experience, and Agile methodology experience. Preferred qualifications include cross-functional project management experience, enterprise application development experience, and excellent communication skills.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in Technical Program Management.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience working in an enterprise application development scenario.
  • Ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent and prepare executive level communication and articulate business or technical concepts to senior leadership.
  • Passion for driving product innovation, with the ability to challenge engineering timelines and product decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
  • Prioritize program goals, understand and translate other stakeholders’ needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.
  • Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported programs.
  • Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
  • Identify, communicate, and collaborate with stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.
