Job Summary
Job Description
As a Technical Solutions Manager, you'll be responsible for the technical relationships with Google's largest advertising clients and partners. You'll lead cross-functional teams to leverage emerging technologies, overseeing technical execution and business operations of Google's advertising platforms. This involves concept design, testing, data analysis, support, balancing business needs with technical constraints, developing innovative solutions, and acting as a consultant. You'll build tools, automate products, develop product strategy, and prioritize projects. Collaboration with Business, Product, and Engineering teams is key to improving tools and services based on user needs. Responsibilities include analyzing and resolving technical problems, identifying optimization opportunities, working with engineers to improve Google tools, collaborating on code implementation for improved troubleshooting, managing stakeholder expectations, and communicating technical and business feedback.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
- Technical troubleshooting & coding experience
- Technical project management experience
- Data/SQL & web technologies experience
- Fluent English and Mandarin communication
Good to have:
- SQL/MySQL, Unix/Linux knowledge
- Collaboration & stakeholder management skills
- Travel ability
- Fluent Japanese communication
- Adaptability to varying time zones

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in technical troubleshooting and coding in one or more programming languages.
- Experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
- Experience with Data/SQL and web technologies.
- Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of SQL/MySQL, and Unix/Linux operating systems and commands.
- Ability to collaborate, build consensus, deliver, and drive technical selections with customer stakeholder groups.
- Ability to travel to meet with partners and client stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
- Ability to manage requests and adapt to varying time zones.
- Excellent leadership, project management, investigative, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve technical problems and roadblocks around data and tools access.
- Identify opportunities to optimize and automate workflows across projects.
- Work with Product Managers and Software Engineers to improve or develop new Google tools and products.
- Collaborate with Consumer and Engineering teams to write codes and implement tools to improve troubleshooting efficiency and the end user experience.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external consumers, advertisers, and publishers to provide technical and business feedback and deliver technical solutions.
