As a Senior Cloud Architect at Tencent Cloud, you'll design and implement advanced cloud architectures, collaborating with internal and external teams. You'll lead R&D efforts to enhance the cloud platform, ensuring solutions meet business objectives and customer needs. Responsibilities include designing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, leading technical development and integration, driving cloud R&D initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance, ensuring alignment with industry standards, and supporting revenue objectives through platform adoption. You'll troubleshoot complex issues and work with the sales team to achieve revenue targets. The role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, cloud-native technologies, and a deep understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.

Position Overview:
As a Senior Cloud Architect at Tencent Cloud, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced cloud architectures, collaborating with internal product and R&D teams, and delivering tailored cloud solutions for our customers. This role requires deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure and a passion for innovation, as you will also be leading R&D efforts to enhance our cloud platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure to support Tencent Cloud's expanding portfolio of products and services.
- Lead the technical development and integration of cloud solutions, ensuring they meet business objectives and customer requirements.
- Drive cloud R&D initiatives by exploring new technologies and developing innovative solutions to optimize our cloud platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and external partners, to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams on cloud architecture best practices, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Ensure the alignment of cloud architectures with industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Support achievement of revenue objectives through the adoption and migration of applications, software, and services onto theTencentCloud platform, in partnership with the sales team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure, performance, and scalability.

Who We Look For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture design, with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud-native technologies, and R&D.
- Expertise in Tencent Cloud or similar platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) with deep understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
- Proven experience in designing and deploying cloud solutions, including microservices architecture, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to lead technical initiatives and propose innovative cloud solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) in order to manage internal and external stakeholders and craft technical documents in both languages effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud R&D projects, particularly in exploring emerging technologies like AI, big data, or edge computing.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, monitoring, and compliance practices.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools for continuous integration and deployment.
