Project description
The project is in Risk Domain which is supported by the IT team. The platform operates 24/7 supporting teams in Sydney. The platform undergoes constant change as it provides services to a number of business stakeholders.
Our team is composed of engineers and technology leaders, who bring in the right mix of skills to enable this transformation. We also work very closely with our business and operations colleagues to support these services which are critical to the Australian and Global economy.
Our team is also responsible also to drive Engineering Governance, Continuous Delivery, and key technological simplification pillars such as Cloud and payments-based architecture
Responsibilities
This is a hands-on Automation tester role required to work GS UI and to work with end users, platforms vendors, business analysts, and developers to create and extend the test framework, test plans for Monthly/Quarterly releases, and the various test cases and scenarios needed to achieve acceptance in the various test phases up to release. Automate Regression Test Cases, Progression Testing, Jira Management
Skills
Must have
5 years of experience in Automation Testing (Python) in the Banking & Capital Markets Domain, like in GoldenSource/Market EDM/Asses Control
Good knowledge of Python/SQL and experience with UI and Database testing
Experience working in Capital Markets
preferred in Reference Data & Market Data, Agile PM, stakeholder engagement
Ensuring quality/acceptance criteria are clearly agreed with appropriate teams and that test coverage is able to deliver this System
Ideally have experience with functional and regression testing for enterprise data management systems. Communication and soft skills
Ability to clearly communicate at all levels and across multiple domains.
Nice to have
Investment banking technology experience, Data Quality Management experience in capital markets. Capital Markets data experience in reference, static market, etc Regulatory project experience eg. FRTB.
Playwright preferred.
