About the job

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in product design or UX.
  • Experience with enterprise product design, critical user journeys, UX design, interaction design.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
  • Experience designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.
  • Ability to work within a technical environment with understanding of technical requirements and limitations.

The Core ML UX team partners with Google Product Areas. The team's goal is to deliver a positive user experience to customers across the range of products.

As a UX Designer, you will collaborate with fellow UX Designers, Researchers, UX Engineers, and Software Engineers to create UX journeys, iterative designs that solve challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solutions.
  • Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high fidelity prototypes.
  • Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
  • Advocate for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.
