About the job

SummaryBy Outscal

Ubisoft seeks a Workplace Specialist to ensure seamless studio operations. Must have experience in office coordination, health & safety, facilities management, and event coordination. Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills are essential.

Company Description

Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must possess current eligibility to live and work in the UK in order for their application to be considered.

At Ubisoft, we aspire to be a workplace where EVERYONE is supported, empowered and invited to join the game. We believe that by prioritising equity and inclusivity, we fuel creative endeavours and craft gameplay experiences that reflect and respect our uniquely talented game-makers and outstanding players.

The Role

As a Workplace Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our studio operates seamlessly and as the face of our studio, greeting colleagues and external contacts, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the studio’s vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

Embracing challenges with creativity and adaptability, you'll ensure that our facilities are optimised to support our studio's needs. Whether it's replenishing coffee machines, coordinating events, or overseeing health and safety practices, you'll be the driving force behind our studio's operational excellence.

You’ll be part of a team that encourages out-of-the-box thinking and continuous improvement and your dedication to enhancing our studio environment will make a tangible impact on the overall studio experience.

This is a dynamic role that requires on-site presence 5 days a week. While our core hours are 9am - 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week), we value flexibility and ask that you be available to adjust your schedule between 8am and 6pm occasionally, which will be shared amongst the team.

There may be opportunities to work from home depending on studio/work constraints, with any such days needing to be agreed upon in advance, offering a balanced approach to your work schedule.

What you'll bring

At Ubisoft, we aim to be a destination of choice for the best talent. We want people like you, who will be instrumental in driving our studios to success.

We are seeking candidates with experience in a workplace/facilities office/coordinator role, and an understanding of general office health and safety practices, facilities management, and event coordination.

While familiarity with tools like Jira and Miro is a plus, we welcome individuals who are eager to learn and adapt to new ways of working. Front-facing customer service experience is important, and it would be beneficial if you have exposure to health and safety practices such as housekeeping checks, fire marshalling, or first aid, though this is not essential.

Flexibility and adaptability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic, reactive environment are crucial, as other priorities may quickly arise. We value excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills to effectively support production schedules and operational planning. If you have patience, approachability, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to take ownership of tasks, we encourage you to apply and join our team.

Joining Ubisoft isn't just about landing a job; it's about embarking on an adventure with a global brand that champions inclusivity and authenticity. Here, you'll have the freedom to be yourself, develop invaluable skills, and make a genuine impact—all without needing to be in a technical role
