This role focuses on driving Unity's growth in non-gaming sectors. Responsibilities include building client relationships, understanding their needs, delivering tailored solutions using the Unity platform, developing and executing sales strategies, presenting solutions to enterprise customers, driving client growth and retention, collaborating with cross-functional teams, identifying upselling opportunities, and staying ahead of industry trends. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a tech/software environment, in-depth knowledge of non-gaming industry verticals (automotive, architecture, engineering, construction, or manufacturing), and strong communication and collaboration skills. Fluency in German is required.

The opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Executive to join our industry team. This role is pivotal in driving Unity’s growth within non-gaming sectors by building strong relationships with industry clients, understanding their unique challenges, and delivering tailored solutions that leverage the full power of the Unity platform.

As a Account Executive, you'll develop and execute account-specific sales strategies, present Unity's solutions to enterprise customers, and drive client growth and retention. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities, while staying ahead of industry trends to inform strategic initiatives. What you'll be doing

  • Drive Strategic Client Relationships: Establish, develop, and maintain influential relationships with key industry clients to understand their unique needs and challenges.
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement targeted sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand Unity’s footprint within non-gaming industry verticals.
  • Solution Selling and Evangelism: Present and advocate for Unity’s innovative solutions, demonstrating how our technology can transform clients’ operations and drive efficiency.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including product, engineering, and customer success, to deliver tailored solutions and ensure seamless client experience.

What we're looking for

  • Proven Enterprise Sales Success: Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a similar tech or software environment.
  • Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience within one or more non-gaming industry verticals (e.g., automotive, architecture, engineering, construction, or manufacturing).
  • Solution Selling Skills: Proficiency in solution-based selling techniques, including the ability to craft and present compelling technology solutions that address client needs.
  • Advanced Communication Skills: Strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to C-suite executives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Fluent in German: Proficiency in German is required, as you will be selling to German-speaking customers and ensuring effective communication and engagement.
