General Summary:

Join Qualcomm's cutting-edge team to develop microarchitecture and RTL logic design for state-of-the-art AI/ML processors used across diverse applications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize high-performance microprocessor design principles such as multi-core, multi-threading, out-of-order execution, memory subsystems, SIMD, computer arithmetic, and advanced low power design.
• Collaborate with architecture and design teams to define microarchitecture, implement designs in RTL, and navigate the full design convergence cycle alongside design verification, performance, physical design, and power analysis teams.
• Assess all facets of the design process, from instruction set architecture to implementation, to achieve industry-leading results in artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.
• Employ system tools including architectural simulators, digital design simulators and emulators, test generators, and design synthesis.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 7+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

• 2+ years of experience with high-performance microprocessor design.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$211,200.00 - $316,800.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
