Summary

Nissan Motor Parts Center (NMPC) in Amsterdam seeks a Business Analyst SAP MM S/4 HANA to join its Supply & Distribution Digital Transformation team. This role involves leading the implementation of SAP tools within a large modernization project replacing the current mainframe system with cloud-based SAP (S/4 HANA) and Manhattan (Active) software. Responsibilities include supporting the functional scoping process, documenting business requirements, participating in design and testing phases, managing change, supporting data migration and go-live, and troubleshooting. The analyst will act as a liaison between business functions and the technical team, collaborating with integrators and business SMEs. The project is a collaboration with the Aftersales business team and the IS department.

Nissan Motor Parts Center (NMPC) is Nissan's master depot in Europe. NMPC supplies spare parts and accessories directly to dealers in Europe and distributors worldwide. From our 90.000 m2 warehouse in Amsterdam we distribute some 160.000 different articles in Europe 24 hours a day.

 

We are seeking for a Business Analyst SAP MM S/4 HANA to be based at Nissan Motor Parts Center, Amsterdam to be part of the Supply & Distribution Digital Transformation team. The Digital Transformation team is currently leading a large modernization project aiming to replace the current mainframe system by state of the art cloud based software from SAP (S/4 HANA) and Manhattan (Active).

The project is carried out jointly with the Aftersales business team and our IS department and software integrators.

 

The Business Analyst SAP MM S/4 HANA will be responsible for the successful implementation of the SAP tool in the role of business process lead in the SAP project stream in close collaboration with the software integrator and business SME’s.


Primary Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the SAP Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Initiate: support functional scoping process and documentation
  • Design: coordinate and document business (user) requirements, participate in functional and detail design and validate that solutions meet operational needs
  • Build & Testing: coordinate and support user acceptance testing & end to end testing including custom developments
  • Change management: support end-user training / ensure operational readiness
  • Implementation: support data migration, cut-over, go-live including troubleshooting (investigate, analyse and solve problems)
  • General: act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education Level: bachelor's degree or higher education
  • High analytical and problem solving skills
  • Relevant experience in SAP MM implementations  (3+ years), S4 HANA is a plus
  • General supply chain knowledge; experience in Aftersales business is a plus
  • Strong communicator in English, both written and verbal
  • Team player; feels comfortable to work in a cross functional and multicultural team
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Specific skills: SAP MM functional knowledge, broader SAP knowledge e.g. SD/FI is a plus
