Job Description

Smilegate Entertainment seeks a talented Character Modeler for its upcoming [Next Crossfire] project. Responsibilities include creating characters and equipment, registering and verifying assets using Unreal Engine 3 and 4, and addressing any related bugs. The ideal candidate possesses strong skills in realistic human modeling, is proficient in industry-standard software (3DS Max, ZBrush, Photoshop, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine 3 & 4), and understands resource optimization. Experience in FPS game development and Unreal Engine projects is highly advantageous. This is a full-time, on-site position at the Smilegate campus in Seongnam, South Korea. The role demands a high level of attention to detail, efficiency, and a passion for cutting-edge technologies.

Must have:

Real-time character creation (realistic style)
Proficiency in 3DS Max, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop
Unreal Engine 3 & 4 experience
Resource optimization expertise
Bug fixing and asset management

Good to have:

FPS game development experience
Unreal Engine project experience
Passion for high-quality asset creation and efficiency

- 캐릭터 제작 및 장구류 제작 - 언리얼3, 4 엔진을 활용한 캐릭터 리소스 등록 및 확인 - 캐릭터 리소스 관련 버그 수정 및 대응

- 실사풍의 캐릭터 제작 가능자 - 게임에 플레이 및 개발 대한 높은 관심

필요역량

- 인체의 사실적 표현 가능자 - 캐릭터 제작에 필요한 툴 숙련자 - 리소스 최적화에 대한 이해 및 실행 역량 - 3DS Max, Z Brush, Photoshop, Substance Painter를 포함한 주요 리소스 제작 툴 운용역량 - 기본적인 언리얼3, 언리얼4 엔진 운용역량

우대사항

- FPS 게임 개발 경험 - 언리얼3, 4 프로젝트 개발 경험 - 고품질의 리소스 제작, 작업 효율성 및 신기술 도입에 대해 관심과 열정을 가진 분
