China IP Licensing Business Manager
Job Summary
Job Description
This role focuses on managing and expanding Smilegate's IP licensing business in China. Responsibilities include managing licensing agreements with Chinese agents and licensees (at least 10), supporting marketing and sales efforts, conducting product inspections, and ensuring IP holder approval. The position also involves global IP licensee discovery, market research, global licensing agreements, marketing/sales support, product inspection, and trademark management in target countries. Additional responsibilities include managing team sales data, supporting IP value-enhancing product development by communicating with developers (especially overseas), supporting product planning and development, and providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders through effective communication and documentation.
Must have:
- IP licensing expertise
- 5+ years IP licensing experience
- Proficient Chinese language skills
- Excellent documentation & reporting skills
- Manage China IP licensing
- Global IP licensee discovery
Good to have:
- Advertising/Media/Journalism background
- Advanced PPT skills

1) 스마일게이트 IP를 활용한 컨텐츠 사업
- 중국 IP 라이선싱 사업 관리 (현지 라이선스 전문 에이전트와 협업)
ㆍ라이선싱 상품화 계약 체결 적합성 검토
ㆍ에이전트, 라이선시 마케팅 및 sales 활동 지원
ㆍ상품화 검수 (IP홀더와 소통 및 승인 획득)
※ 최소 10개 이상 라이선시 협업 예상
- 글로벌 IP 라이선시 발굴 및 사업 전개
ㆍ글로벌 시장 조사 (트랜드, sales pool 관리)
ㆍ글로벌 라이선싱 상품화 계약 영업 및 체결
ㆍ라이선시 마케팅 및 sales 활동 지원
ㆍ상품화 검수 (IP홀더와 소통 및 승인 획득)
ㆍ상품화 추진 국가 상표권 관리
2) 팀 Sales Data 관리
- 팀 내 사업 형태별 로열티 Sale Data 통합 관리
3) IP 가치 증대 제품 개발 지원
- 개발사 커뮤니케이션 지원 (해외 개발사 중심)
- 제품 기획, 개발 등 전반적인 업무 지원
4) 전략적 제안을 통한 이해관계자 의사결정 지원
- 내외부 커뮤니케이션 및 이해관계자 관리
- 전략적이고 체계적인 제안서 작성
- 문제해결을 위한 의사결정 지원
자격요건
- IP 라이선싱 사업에 대한 높은 이해도 보유
- IP 라이선싱 업계 5년 이상 근무
- 업무 가능한 수준의 중국어 역량
- 업무 성과를 문서화하여 보고한 경험이 풍부한 분
- 결과물을 체계적인 문서 형태로 다수 작성한 경험 보유

- IP/컨텐츠 다각화 사업에 대한 insight
- 원활한 대내외적 커뮤니케이션 능력
- 컨텐츠, 트랜드에 대한 풍부한 지식
- 컨텐츠 사업에 대한 적극적이고 진취적인 성향 보유자 선호
- 설득력 있는 문서 작성 능력
우대사항
- 광고홍보학, 언론정보학, 신문방송학 전공
- OA(PPT) 활용 능력 상급
