Compliance Analyst (GRC)

Entain is looking to add a Compliance Analyst to its team who will play a vital role in identifying and mitigating compliance risks, ensuring Entain operates with robust governance while delivering a safe and enjoyable experience for its customers. 

Reporting to the Compliance Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and updating Entain’s GRC system and supporting our compliance program by conducting analyses, and monitoring regulatory requirements. This role suits those who are natural builders, who love project work and building things from the ground up as you will support the implementation of compliance frameworks and developing internal controls.

The position is based in Brisbane, Australia. Entain has offices in Darwin, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, and Wellington. Your day-to-day... 

• Monitor changes in relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards across Australia and New Zealand;
• Maintain and update Entain’s GRC system, ensuring data integrity and accessibility and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the GRC system reflects current processes and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements to ensure high-quality data and insights to drive compliance risk reduction and support compliance monitoring and decision-making.
• Assist the Compliance Manager in maintaining current and up-to-date compliance governance documents.
• Support the ongoing enhancement of the compliance management frameworks and assist the Compliance Manager with effectively executing those frameworks across the business.

What you’ll bring... 

• A minimum 2 years of experience in compliance management within highly regulated industries, ideally in wagering, financial services, or a similar sector.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring systems (GRC systems) and data analytics tools (a must)
• Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand regulatory frameworks, including privacy laws, anti-bribery legislation, and marketing compliance standards or ability to acquire knowledge quickly.
• A background in developing, implementing and managing complex compliance frameworks and obligation within an organisation.
