The role involves working with writers and content managers to enhance MMA content and improve performance metrics. This entry-level position requires strong MMA knowledge and proficiency in social media.

The  Opportunity
Location: Remote

Role:Contract

Sportskeeda’s MMA vertical is looking for a Content specialist.
Your primary responsibilities would include working with the content team and writers to grow the vertical in terms of content production, quality, timelines, and traffic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scouting MMA and Boxing content over various platforms (web, social media, forums) in multiple formats (audio, video, text) to assist the content team for developing articles in real-time
  • Scouting various podcasts for MMA and Boxing content.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest developments in the professional and personal lives of prominent MMA stars and their partners.
  • Developing repositories with regards to content sources, podcasts, journalists, websites, forums, etc.
  • Working closely with the Content Manager and Assistant Content Managers with regards to R&D, developing data-driven insights, carrying analysis across various levels, etc.

Requirements

  • This is an entry level position, good MMA knowledge is the only requirement
  • Efficient with using social media and developing processes to streamline daily scouting and tracking operations
  • Understanding of MMA, lifestyle, culture, trends, and an eye for detail for a good story
