The Corporate Litigation Counsel will manage litigation and investigations, develop case strategies, and handle risk management for Match Group's portfolio brands. Must have:

Juris Doctorate Degree
Member of state bar (Texas preferred)
4+ years of experience in law firms or legal departments
Strong fact-finding, drafting, negotiating, writing, and research skills
Experience in litigation
Excellent communication and persuasive writing skills

We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and business-minded Corporate Litigation Counsel to join our dynamic in-house legal team. In this role, you will work closely with business leaders, outside counsel, and cross-functional teams to manage litigation for Match Group’s portfolio brands.

This is a hybrid role based in our Dallas office.

How you’ll make an impact:

You will assist with managing litigation and investigations and on the strategy and resolution of cases, plus general risk management.
You will conduct legal research and review and revise litigation related documents.
You will handle litigation and dispute related issues not requiring assistance of outside counsel.
You will draft various motions, briefs, and other pleadings.
You will assist with discovery, including gathering information and documentation, conducting privilege reviews, creating privilege logs, and assisting in document reviews.
You will provide support and legal guidance on disputes or threatened legal action.
You will draft and manage legal holds, demands for indemnification, and other demand letters.
You will be responsible for monthly accrual and forecasting numbers for litigation related matters.

We could be a match if:

You have a Juris Doctorate Degree and are a member of state bar (Texas preferred).
You have at least 4 years of experience with top law firm and/or in house legal department experience.
You have strong fact-finding, drafting, negotiating, writing and research skills.
You have litigation experience.
You have excellent communication skills as well as persuasive writing skills.
You are a strategic thinker and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
You possess the leadership acumen and credibility to inspire confidence among business clients in a high growth business.

$165,000 - $190,000 a year

The compensation range listed above is representative of the base salary offered.

Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of Dallas, TX. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
