Data Engineer

Our Data and AI team is looking for a colleague to join them! Your main goal as the Data Engineer would be to help our clients understand and leverage their data to enable their business' efficiency and growth.

Your role would be as much about all the technical bits around data engineering as well as about collaboration and understanding the customer. So far so good? Keep on reading!

Location 🌍 Remote position open to candidates in Europe.

What Will You Do? 🔧

• Analyze data flows, business processes and system integrations & identify opportunities for optimization and iprovement.
• Perform data profiling and discovery to uncover key insights and ensure data quality.
• Design and implement scalable data models and pipelines aligned with business objectives and long-term strategies.
• Build and maintain solutions using Google Cloud Platform tools, including but not limited to BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataform, Dataplex, Datastream, and Dataproc.
• Contribute to the implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using Looker to enable data-driven decision-making.
• Support AI initiatives by collaborating on projects leveraging Vertex AI for predictive analytics and machine learning solutions.

What You Bring 🎯

• 3+ years of experience in analyzing data flows, designing data architectures and developing data pipelines.
• Strong hands-on expertise with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data stack, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataplex, Dataform, Datastream, and Dataproc.
• Familiarity with BI tools, especially Looker and AI frameworks such as Vertex AI.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong initiative.
• Proficiency in data profiling and discovery techniques.
• Strong communication skills.
