Job Description

The People Analyst at Fortis Games will build and enhance people analytics capabilities. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining data infrastructure, creating reports and dashboards, data cleaning, and ensuring timely reporting. Collaboration with stakeholders is key to gathering requirements, providing insights, and supporting data-driven decisions. The role also involves Workday technical support (configuration, EIB uploads, report creation, troubleshooting). Additional responsibilities include managing the employee engagement survey program, overseeing Workday release testing, maintaining data infrastructure, and communicating insights effectively. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of HR analytics experience with 2+ years of Workday configuration experience (HCM, Core Compensation).

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, Looker knowledge a plus

About The Role

We are seeking a People Analyst to play a pivotal role in building and advancing our people analytics capabilities. This role will focus on establishing a strong data foundation, including designing and maintaining data infrastructure, designing reports and dashboards, cleaning and organizing datasets, and enabling accurate, timely reporting. You will partner closely with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, surface critical insights, and support data-driven decision-making that drives our people strategy forward. In addition to these strategic initiatives, you will provide day-to-day support for Workday technical operations, including configuring business processes, handling EIB uploads, creating and maintaining reports, troubleshooting issues as they arise, general system configuration and testing.

What You’ll Achieve

  • Build and update core people analytics dashboards, including key metrics on recruiting, organizational health, and other essential people metrics in google sheets and Looker.
  • Partner with stakeholders to customize and update core people analytics dashboards, ensuring they support strategic, data-driven decision-making.
  • Conduct ad hoc and compliance analyses to address timely business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Leverage analytics and systems to enable efficient people processes.
  • Own the employee engagement survey program, from project management and question design to analysis and reporting. Serve as a survey expert by supporting ad hoc survey development and analysis.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for Workday operations, including configuring business processes, handling EIB uploads, creating reports, managing security, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Oversee the bi-annual assessment and testing of Workday releases to proactively identify and address potential business impacts and opportunities.
  • Manage data infrastructure and data quality by implementing data governance best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Utilize storytelling techniques and data visualization tools to clearly communicate people data insights to stakeholders, enabling informed and strategic decision-making.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

  • 5+ years of experience in HR analytics, with 2+ years of Workday configuration experience (HCM, Core Compensation)
  • Proficiency manipulating and analyzing data in Google Sheets/Excel, with Looker knowledge a plus
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Demonstrated experience in building scalable dashboards and processes that meet evolving business needs.
  • Strong data analytics, data management, and storytelling techniques to present clear and actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity, ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset to identify process improvements and implement effective solutions.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Survey experience, including designing, project managing, and analyzing employee surveys.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and pushing work forward with minimal supervision.
