We are seeking a Software Developer for our backend development team to actively contribute to the design, development and delivery of the game engine services.

The role involves being a part of a newly established team with the focus on learning the business use case around the solution, contributing to the development of the new services and showcasing your technical expertise in delivering backend systems.

You will be actively involved in team discussions, decision making and contributing to the development processes.

Sounds great! What will I be doing? 🔎

You will be involved in all phases of development, from conception all the way to release and beyond. Building highly available applications using languages and technologies such as C#, T-SQL, DynamoDB, Redis, AWS and other technologies.

You will actively support the implementation of continuous integration to ensure a solid deployment process. You'll be collaborating with colleagues within the game, product, platform, infrastructure, and QA teams to ensure cohesive product delivery.

  • Leverage your technical expertise as an integral part of our development team to tackle intricate challenges and construct reliable, well-documented, and highly available cloud solutions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous innovation and strategic thinking.
  • Engage actively in designing and developing intricate technical solutions.
  • Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented software solutions. Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and quality assurance testing to ensure software reliability and scalability.
  • Implement best practices in software development, including version control, testing methodologies, and coding standards. Stay updated on emerging technologies, software development trends, and best practices.

What does "good" look like for us? 😇

  • Excellent knowledge of C#
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Good working experience of cloud services and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proven experience in building backend systems
  • Demonstratable experience with all aspects of delivering high volume API’s
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Estimating complex technical stories and breaking them down
  • Track record of implementing CI/CD pipelines
  • Prior experience developing solutions and integrating with legacy systems
