What your role and typical day might look like

Client Engagement through a digital lens will be a key purpose of this role, being deeply involved and accountable in all aspect of digital media planning, investment and implementation including ad-ops, brand safety/viewability and measurement.

You’ll be supporting our Group Business Director and digital teams to create synergies between online and offline activities to ensure cohesiveness across the media strategy, meaning you’ll be working closely with key digital media suppliers such as Google and Facebook to ensure our key objectives are met.

Responsibilities could include

  • Contributes to key digital media planning activities with new and existing client/s

  • Manage dentsu network agency partnerships both internal and external.

  • A leader within the field of digital and technology positively setting and example for the digital practitioners within the agency, including the delivery of the training and development activities.

  • Maintaining an understanding of the latest technology, product and platforms trends and the potential impacts to client portfolios to supporting the digital ecosystem

  • Able to provide a generalist view of all facets of digital media (biddable and non-biddable) and how they can work together effectively in the context of a media strategy and/or plan

  • Clarity in how we are charging clients for digital media and ensuring contract compliance

  • Supports investment in the accurate forecasting media billings by media owner

  • To play a support role in new business as required

A bit about you

  • At least 6 years’ experience working within a media and advertising agency or similar environment.

  • A comprehensive understanding of the digital media marketplace and technology/product trends.

  • Thorough understanding of the industries in client portfolio and in particular the digital norms for the category

  • Ability to simplify the complex with a wide range of audiences

  • Excellent client service skills – the ability to gain trust and confidence

  • Confident communicator and able to present work with conviction

  • Effective time management
