Job Description

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a social media strategy to increase engagement and brand awareness for India International University of Legal Education & Research (IIULER). Responsibilities include strategically planning and managing social media accounts across various platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google, WhatsApp, YouTube), creating and curating engaging content (images, videos, written and audio/podcast), and expanding community and influencer outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in social media management and content creation, excellent photography and video editing skills, and superb communication and copywriting skills. They should also be adept at handling various social media platforms, comfortable with the fast-paced nature of university life, and passionate about education, storytelling, and building digital communities. The role also involves monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on social media KPIs, collaborating with other teams, and updating the university website with visually appealing content.

Must have:

Proven social media management experience
Excellent photography & video editing skills
Superb communication & copywriting skills

You will amplify our university's voice and activities across various social media platforms - Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google, WhatsApp, YouTube, and more. You will be the mastermind behind capturing the university's dynamic environment, transforming moments into compelling stories that connect, inspire and engage.

Role and Responsibilities 💼

As a Social Media Manager, You Will

Strategically plan and manage our social media accounts.

Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written and audio/podcast).

Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.

Design and implement social media strategy to align with university goals.

Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a "Social" way while cultivating leads and engagement.

Oversee design for our social media channels (cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, etc.).

Drive efforts to boost audience engagement and community growth.

Track, analyze and report on social media Key Performance Indicators.

Collaborate with other teams, like admissions, events, alumni relations, to ensure brand consistency.

Update the university's website regularly with visually appealing and informative content.
