Role

Provide strategic leadership and creative direction for the game design team, aligning their efforts with the company's vision and product roadmap
Oversee the entire game design process, from concept to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and engaging free-to-play mobile games
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, prototype, and iterate on game designs that deliver outstanding player experiences
Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
Establish and maintain best practices for game design processes, documentation, and knowledge-sharing across the organization
Conduct playtests, analyze player data, behavioral metrics, and feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive data-informed design decisions
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and gameplay innovations to ensure our products remain competitive and cutting-edge
Mentor and coach game designers, fostering their professional growth and nurturing a culture of creativity and experimentation
Participate in the recruitment and hiring of top game design talent

Must Have

10+ years of experience in game design, with 3+ years in a leadership role
Proven track record of delivering highly engaging free-to-play mobile game experiences
Excellent understanding of game design principles, mechanics, game economy, and systems, with a focus on free-to-play and live operations models
Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams
Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player motivations and engagement strategies
