You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial information, and collaborate with other departments to support strategic decision-making. Additionally, you will be responsible for GST compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
What would you do?
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial transactions.
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information, resolve issues, and support cross-functional initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to finance and accounting.
Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including registration, invoicing, filing of returns, and reconciliation of GST accounts.
Ensure timely and accurate calculation, deduction, and payment of TDS as per applicable rates and regulations.
Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) within prescribed deadlines.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including but not limited to cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and accruals.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including adjusting journal entries and account reconciliations.
Provide training and guidance to junior staff members on proper accounting procedures and journal entry processing.
Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by management
You should apply if you have :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting.
2-3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.
Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Experience with ZOHO is a plus.
