About the role:
As a Senior Concept resource, you will play a pivotal role in translating client briefs into captivating brand narratives across various mediums such as events, activations, and intellectual properties. Reporting directly to the Executive Creative Director, you will be responsible for crafting central themes or storylines that seamlessly connect different elements within the program. Your primary focus will be on developing authentic, compelling, and innovative concepts for experiential marketing campaigns across on-ground, social media, and digital platforms. We are ‘seeking a dynamic leader adept at managing a team of conceptualizers, driving innovation through collaboration, and managing their creative outputs to achieve collective success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Creative Concepts: Utilize your creative prowess to transform client briefs into engaging brand stories. Generate fresh, cliche-free ideas that resonate with target audiences and align with the client's marketing objectives
- Strategic Content Creation: Write strategic copies for a wide range of materials including event scripts, branding collaterals, invites, AV scripts, emailers, print communication, and presentations. Ensure consistency in messaging and brand narrative across all touchpoints
- Visual Content Development: Collaborate with 2D and 3D designers to produce visual content that brings the conceptual ideas to life. Manage graphic production to ensure alignment with the overarching creative concept
- Project Management: Oversee the execution of projects by assigning tasks to team members and ensuring deadlines are met. Treat each brief as a complete campaign, providing solutions not only for the project itself but also for the pre-event buildup and post-project activities
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with client servicing teams to understand client requirements and ensure creative goals are met. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and pitches, offering strategic insights and innovative solutions
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead brainstorming sessions to inspire the concept team and encourage the generation of fresh, innovative ideas. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and enhancing their creative skills
- Business Development: Actively contribute to new business pitches by conceptualizing ideas and presenting creative solutions that showcase the agency's capabilities. Play a key role in increasing business turnover through successful client engagements
- Hands-On Involvement: Take a hands-on approach to key projects, providing creative direction and ensuring the successful implementation of the conceptual ideas. Be actively involved in on-ground execution, guiding the team to deliver unforgettable brand experiences
Required Qualification, Experience & skills:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, or related field
- 10+ years in a Copy or Concept role with a minimum of 5+ years in the experiential marketing industry, particularly in events/activations.
- A rich portfolio of original and inspiring work. Portfolios should demonstrate strong conceptual abilities, standout creative thinking, and exceptional writing skills
- Proven experience in managing the creative team from concept to completion of projects with strong leadership skills.
