Summary

The role requires strong HR and business acumen, experience with HR systems (Workday preferred), excellent communication, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. The role demands working US business hours (5 PM to 2 AM IST).

We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our dynamic HR Business Partner team. The primary responsibilities will include providing HR generalist support for two US based Strategic HR Business partners, contributing to key global HR initiatives such as the talent calibration process, annual merit cycles, and organizational design projects. While your main focus will be on supporting the US based Strategic HR Business, you will also offer secondary HR support to the Regional HR Director for APAC as needed.
This role reports directly to the Director, HRBP – APAC and provides a fantastic opportunity for career growth while making meaningful contributions to the business. As the primary responsibility for this position supports US partners you must be able to work US business hours. The working schedule is Monday to Friday, 5 PM to 2 AM IST. This role is eligible for a shift allowance.
  
What you'll be working on: 
 
  • Play a key role in providing HR support to the HR Business Partner team and their associated business units.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners on the rollout of new programs and HR-related initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the HRBP team, leadership and employees to help to create an engaged and high performing culture that helps the company to achieve business objectives. 
  • Serve as secondary contact for client groups which requires a deep understand business challenges within specific business units.
  • Liaise with the global HR Ops team and/or Payroll on needed employee changes such as promotions, manager changes and salary adjustments.
  • Leverage people data analytics to assist HRBPs with business solutions.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  
 What you bring to the role: 
 
  • HR and business acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, initiative and team mentality  
  • Knowledge of HR systems and processes (HRIS) and expertise with Excel 
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team setting in a fast-paced environment 
  • Able to connect with people and meet targeted deadlines 
  • High integrity, commitment, and attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written)  
  
 
Education & Experience: 
 
  • University degree in Human Resources or a related field 
  • Experience of 2-3 years in a global HR Specialist or HR Operations role 
  • Ability to work independently and as an active, collaborative member of the team 
  • HR system experience, Workday preferred 
  • Strong proficiency in Excel 
  • Excellent customer service both internally and externally 
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills 
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment 
  • Must be flexible in both tasks and work hours 
  • Must be proactive and take ownership of tasks given 
  • High level of confidentiality required
