Job Description

The Nicosia HR Operations Team seeks an HR Services Specialist to manage HQ and Cyprus office HR operations. Responsibilities include implementing HR policies and processes (compliant with Cyprus legislation), maintaining employee databases, coordinating onboarding, processing HR-related payments, assisting employees with governmental registrations (Social Insurance, GESY), providing relocation support to expats (including visa/permit assistance), and interacting with immigration consultants. The role requires strong communication (English & Russian), organizational skills, and proficiency in HR operations, especially Cyprus migration procedures.
Must have:
  • University degree or relevant experience
  • 1-2 years HR Ops experience (Cyprus migration focus)
  • Excellent English and Russian communication
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in MS Office and adapting to new systems

Job Overview

The Nicosia HR Operations Team is looking for an HR Services Specialist to join our team! What will you do?

  • In alignment with the HR Director, you will be responsible for the smooth HR operations of the HQ, Cyprus office
  • Implement and adapt new and existing HR policies and processes in accordance with Cyprus legislation
  • Prepare and file HR documents related to onboarding and ongoing employee support
  • Maintain the employee database (e.g., HRMS) and staff records
  • Coordinate logistics, set up agendas, and manage the onboarding of new employees
  • Partner with the finance team to ensure the efficient processing of HR-related invoice payments
  • Assist employees with registrations and applications to Cyprus governmental authorities (e.g., Social Insurance, GESY)
  • Serve as the point of contact for any information employees may need during their relocation to Cyprus and provide post-relocation support
  • Provide expatriates with assistance on local legislation and requirements for various processes, such as obtaining a driving license, opening a bank account, etc
  • Interact with immigration consultants to prepare and facilitate migration applications for employees and their family members
  • Track applications and monitor their status at migration authorities, ensuring timely follow-ups
  • Establish and maintain employee files, ensuring that employees and their family members have valid work permits/visas at all times during employment

What are we looking for?

  • University degree in a relevant field or relevant work experience
  • 1–2 years’ experience in HR Operations with a focus on Cyprus migration procedures and documentation
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Russian languages
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong team player and eager to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem solving and customer service mindset
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) and ability to quickly learn new systems

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Greek language is a strong plus
